Highly regarded Jazz Stand-Up Bassist and band leader. Often worked with Red Prysock and Earl Bostic. Founding member of "The Royal Street Bachelors", with Jack McVea, and Harold Grant. The Royal Street Bachelors were a dixieland jazz trio who performed for over 25 years, at the New Orleans Square, located in Disneyland (California, USA). The trio is still active, though Jack McVea has retired and Harold Grant is deceased.
