HERD OF INSTINCT is a progressive rock band from Arlington, Texas. It was formed by Mark Cook in 2007, from the ashes of the band 99 Names Of God. In 2011, they were signed to Firepool Records, a label owned by Djam Karet's members. HERD OF INSTINCT perform mostly instrumental eclectic, experimental, and deviant Prog-Rock blending multiple elements from various modern genres and styles as well as world tribal music.
