Album CH 1988 on Schedle & Arpagaus label
Classical (Contemporary)
"Recorded live March 4, 1988 at Augustinerkirche Zürich. All LPs are signed & numbered by Hermann Nitsch. An original work by Hermann Nitsch is enclosed with a part of the edition. The back cover shows the Conus-Nebel in the constellation Monoceros. A poetical text by HG Kestel about the organ music of Hermann Nitsch is enclosed with this record. Published & distributed by Schedle & Arpagaus, Agentur für Zeitkunst, Zürich." Comes in a gatefold sleeve with a loosely attached 12" x 12" insert comprising the 'poetical text' by HG Kestel and several photos of stars and nebulas. It seems the special edition mentioned in the liner notes was never realized. However, the sleeves for this special edition were pre-numbered 1/50 - 50/50, in addition to the regular edition, which is numbered 1/150 - 150/150. Eventually both editions remained identical, so that there is a total of 200 (hand)numbered & signed copies.
