Hi-Lite Scan is a German (Deep) House project formed in 1998 by the two House producers Frank Stertkamp and Sudad Ghadaban (Sudad G). In 2001, after a handful of releases and remixes on SONY/epidrome, Royal Phunk Records or Disco Galaxy, Hi-Lite Scan’s single "Work The Box" (Rouge Pulp) reached the top of the international Discomania sale charts. The track was then also released as the only German production on the British compilation "House Warming 2" by Ministry of Sound. Up to 2006 a number of other releases with artists such as Boysie White or James Wilson followed, accompanied by several remixes for Fuel/WEA Records and BMG and numerous appearances on House compilations. Not to be unmentioned, Hi-Lite Scan delivered an unusual classic House Remix for Thelma Houston's famous classic tune "Don't leave me this way" which was re-recorded with the Band "Soultans" and released by Coconut Records on Maxi-CD in 2002. In the meantime Hi-Lite Scan's Club remix of Sound Attack's "All Night All Day" (House Nation) also achieved much attention in Eastern Europe. Since 2012 Hi-Lite Scan's "Work The Box" belongs to the recognized House classics of the late 1990s: Ministry Of Sound released a re-mastered version of "Work The Box" on their successful compilation series "House Warming: Deep House Classics - 30 Luxury Deep House Grooves". While Sudad G started his own House project in 2012, Frank had to pause due to a severe heart desease which became really threatening at the end. Luckily, in early 2017 a donor heart finally saved his life. Seizing his second chance Frank began to bethink himself of his House Music roots and joined Hi-Lite Scan again. Being supported by a solid fan base, Hi-Lite Scan had never be gone completely! But now in 2018, after 20 years the original line-up is definitively back on stage!
