Rock and Pop
Hide & Seek was a psychedelic beat band from Graz, Austria. They existed from 1969 to 1971 and released three singles on Amadeo. Before they started in this line-up, most of the musicans played in Generation 2000. Shortly after being founded, they got to play lots of shows in Austria and Yugoslavia. They won a beat band competition between Styria and Slovenia and got signed by Amadeo. Their first record "The Beggar Of St. Pair" is a critic beat ballade about money, while their next releases were more psychedelic. After Alex Rehak left the band to form the more commercially orientated Turning Point (4), his place got taken by Wilfried, who later was one of Austria's leading New Wave musicians. The band disbanded in 1971.
