Rap group formed in Denton, TX in the early 90s. The group was formed out of Real Lunatics crew (Hub, Zigg Zagg & Shagg) with the additions of Words and Rockbaby. The group was recorded, produced and managed by Dj Spinn, aka Spinn Mo. He was also the dj. Similar to Dj Screw's S.U.C., HLV released numerous unofficial self releases tape mixes featuring many frequent collaborators, although without the signature slowed down and chopped sound. Recordings ranged from 1993-1997. High Life Villainz opened up for Lil Keke, Master P, Warren G & The Twins. Hub released a solo album on Bigg Game Records in 2001. Shagg started his own 812 Records and released 2 albums independently in 2002 and 2005. C-Mo A, Brick, Doobie & C.P. were frequent collaborators.
