Chilean folk singer (1914 - 1975), Violeta Parra's older sister, with whom she formed a duo in 1949, called "Las Hermanas Parra", active until 1952. She is also older sister of Nicanor Parra, Lalo Parra, Roberto Parra and Lautaro Parra, and mother of Nano Parra, Nicanor Parra Chico and Maria Elena Parra.
