Born 27th April 1981 in Ålesund, Norway. Norwegian singer and songwriter who studied Jazz at Norges Musikkhøgskole. At age 14 she started touring with Rikskonsertene, Although Educated in Jazz, she quickly developed a multi facetted style of music you could not exactly pin down when "Let´s Let Go" was released. Kjersem is an artist that is constantly exploring new territories. Owns her own production studio: Wassup Productions since 2010. Also owns her own label: Brødr. Recordings. In early 2014 she changed her artist name to Marie Munroe because according to herself, her real name was to hard to remember for her audience.
