"Hirn Mit Ei" ("brain with egg") was a local Garage Rock/Country/Rockabilly combo from the vicinity of Frankfurt, Germany, who played the local venues in the early 1990's. At one point they acted as opener for Jad Fair's "Half Japanese", while most other appearances were at independent concerts and amateur festivals. Impressed (in own words) by independent acts as "Der Plan" and "Residents" (amongst many others), they appeared in changing costumes (and artist or group names such as "The Cramps Revival Band") on stage. Some of its members founded the Björn Sund Trio which is still active today.
