Hittar Cuesta was a guitarist born in the city of Loja - Ecuador, since his childhood years feels much fondness for the guitar, a hobby that would gradually grow to arise as be his way of life, his profession and for this purpose - to not being allowed entry into the Conservatory of music - because he was a self-taught musician thanks to his innate sense of hearing and versatile fingering that favors further their knowledge. At that time formed his first band with influences from Led Zeppelin, Dire Straits and Eric Clapton. In 1993 he settled down in Quito forming a band that played songs from Ozzy Osbourne, Deep Purple and others, going through several groups formed by their own initiatives begins to be known at the level of local clubs and some musical average scene. In 1994 was a member of the "Cruks en Karnak", a Pop Rock band where after playing in different gigs around Ecuador, leads to their first album; arriving to participate in important international concerts as: In 1997 Rock Al Parque in Bogotá, at the end of 1997 goes on the road by Cuba playing in cities like Havana, Santa Clara and Cienfuegos; in mid-1998, he participated in the second Karnak's album called "La Dimension Del Cuy" (The Dimension Of The Guinea Pig), that recording was performed in Argentina where appeared in a major concert for Hard Rock Café in Buenos Aires. Time after was musician of "Falc", a Heavy Metal band in which offers two of his vocal compositions "Tiempo a Destiempo" (Time To Time) and "Sin Amor" (Without Love), besides being part in the rest of the album of the band. Finally disturbed and attracted by instrumental & neoclassical music also influenced in the style of great guitarists such are Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, John Petrucci, Paul Gilbert, Jason Becker, Yngwie Malmsteen and other shredders of this Metal genre, giving a step ahead to the creation of his own band. Hittar Cuesta was also dedicated to educating future guitar talents at his music school that bears his name, where the specialty is Rock Music. Hittar Cuesta passed away in March 12th/2018 of a heart failure at 47 years old.
