Hobbit were formed in September 1986 in Ioannina, Greece, by Vangelis Boulouhtsis (bass-vocals), Spiros Dogoritis (keyboards), Filippos Mermigas (drums) and Periklis Boulouhtsis (guitar), and along with Έγχρωμο Γάλα by Antonis Livieratos were side projects of Κεφάλαιο 24 in the mid-80s.
