Hollow Mirror is a modern metal band from Moscow, Russia, formed in 2009. They are one of the few contemporary bands who take their musical influence from both Thrash and Metalcore genres. However band members prefer when their fans decide for themselves "which metal genre they sound like". The band's front man with powerful harmonic and extreme vocal technique and a girl on the 7-string rhythm guitar with surprisingly aggressive and venomous guitar attack really make the band stand out on the Moscow Metal stage. Since their formation in late 2009 the band has experienced a single line-up change and moved from heavy- and power-metal influenced music to an original and more extreme mixture of modern metal genres. The band's second studio release, Internet-single Crimson Eye stands as the milestone of this transition.
