Norwegian heroes of the rock'n'roll underground Hollywood Vampires (not to be confused with 5-7 other bands with the same name of the same style!) were born in 2002 thanks to guitarist AK-47 and frontman Paulie Z. Combining the punk energy of the 70s, coupled with the glam-rock chips and the image of the 80s, the band immediately declared itself as followers of the Backstreet Girls, Faster Pussycat and L.A. Guns. During their short career, "Hollywood Vampires" managed to record and release 2 of them, and also to light up on a couple of glam / punk compilations, including Glamnation and Trashcan Darlings tribute albums.
