Birth: 4/10/1937 Death: 2/19/1982 Cause Of Death: Car Accident Homero Guerrero is a norteño legend and founder of Los Cadetes De Linares. Homero was born in Linares, Nuevo Leon, Mexico in 1937. As a child, Homero had dreams of becoming a military soldier. However, due to the economic hardships him and his family faced, he was not able enroll into the military. Instead, he turned to his next passion, music. Homero first created the group Los Cadetes in the early 60's, mainly playing at weddings and parties. The group name was actually named by the locals of Linares, knowing that he was once fond of being in the military.
