Natives of Northern California's Daly City, the two-man hip-hop group officialy came on the scene in the early 90's influenced in part by the hardcore G-funk rap acts such as Dr. Dre and Too Short. Hoop-la released "Can You Feel Me?" through Quality Records in 1994 and several years later the group came back together to release their album Coming From The G-Side on their independent label Dee-Bess Records. The group took on more spirtual themes in their late works and now are strong advocate for Internet downloading.
