Horacio Loriente

Horacio Loriente (1916-2005). Uruguayan. One of the most important collectors and investigators of tango music. He founded "Academia del Tango de la R. O. del Uruguay" and also integrated "Academia Nacional del Tango de Argentina". In 2003, his discographic collection on Carlos Gardel was nominated of cultural interest by UNESCO.
