This quartet, featuring Maceo Parker (sax), Fred Wesley (trombone), Richard "Kush" Griffith (trumpet) & Rick Gardner (trumpet) was the first horn section for Parliament in 1976. They are also full members of Bootsy's Rubber Band. They released two records for Atlantic in 1977 & 1979, both produced by George Clinton.
