Hoshiko Yamane (born 1981 in Osaka, Japan) is a violinist, composer and electronic musician currently based in Berlin. She graduated from Aich Prafecture University of Art and Music with the Master of Fine Arts for the violin in her native Japan and also earned a diploma in violin from the University of Music and Theater in Rostock in Germany.. Yamane has been a member of Tangerine Dream since 2011. She also leads a music and contemporary dance project called Tansik. They released their debut album, DIscord, in 2016.
