Single NL 2009 on Subbacultcha! label
Pop
http://subbacultcha.nl/hospitalbombers.html After the release of their critically acclaimed debut album 'Footnotes' in December 2007, Amsterdam based indie-folk band Hospital Bombers toured most of 2008, spreading their heartbreaking songs of love and decay through Holland, Spain, the UK, US & Canada. In their quest to entertain the broken hearted, 2009 marked the writing and recording of new material in lead singer Jan Schenk's studio Lijn 3 in Amsterdam. Armed with their favorite three chords, vocals, violin, drums, bass, philicorda and tambourine the band successfully continued where they left off: Writing amazing pop songs echoing the work of The Velvet Underground, The Mountain Goats and Raymond Carver. When we heard the first two drafts off the new recordings we were instantly inspired to release them on 7" as a prelude of beautiful things to come. The two songs on this exclusive vinyl treat are the perfect soundtrack to falling in and out of love in a mere 5minutes and 17seconds.
