Hoss is a stoner rock/doom band from Charleston, South Carolina. Forming in 1995, the band lasted until 2001 playing around the Charleston area. They released a self-titled CD in 1998 that the band marketed themselves. Band members on the recording are Scott Cave: guitar, James Zimmerman: guitar (also in the band Isabelle's Gift), Chris Bogart: vocals, John Lousteau: drums on a few tracks, and Ronnie McKnight: drums on a few tracks. Recordings were made by Hoss, Kevin Taylor (artist in San Francisco), and Joe Baffa (the live tracks).
