Howard Dudune

July 14, 1930 – September 24, 2016 Howard was a member of the Don Sherwood band that appeared nightly on television. He became an award-winning band director in the South San Francisco Unified School District where he taught music for 32 years. His passion was playing the saxophone and clarinet professionally in the Bay Area. He played in many jazz festivals throughout Northern California. Howard performed with many stars, such as Johnny Mathis, Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Eddie Duran, Perry Como, Judy Garland, Rosemary Clooney, Liberace, and Jack Benny.
