Hanson's Symphony No. 3 was recorded on May 5, 1963, on 3-track half-inch tape, using three 201 Telefunken microphones. It was original released on SR0499. Elegy was recorded on May 6, 1957, and originally released on SR90150. The Lament For Beowulf was recorded on May 5, 1958, and first released on SR90192. Both works were recorded on 3-track half-inch tape, using one 201 and two M59 Telefunken microphones. All thre recordings were made in the Eastman Tehaetre in Rochester, NY.
