Album UK 2015 on The Fog Signals label
Electronic (Ambient, Experimental, Musique Concrète)
OH - featuring abandoned playground (microcassette field recordings, chimes, distant trains, Ohio, 1990s) A Startled City (industrial sirens and factory whistles, inspired by true events, Indianapolis, 1919) Mount Shock (a creaking microphone cradle in a BBC radio studio) A Viewless Sea (foghorns and ship whistles, VHF radio transmissions, seawash) All of the music on this record was created using the above recordings, three reel-to-reel tape machines and very little else. Tape loop tension maintained using a small Buddha statue, some bicycle handlebars and a pint glass full of loose change. No additional effects or artificial reverb have been used in the making of these recordings. Mastered by James Edward Barker for Veneration Music Limited to 250 copies and available from Bandcamp. The purchaser of this LP was also entitled to a digital download of the album, which included an extra track: "Digital Bonus: Live At Jardins Efémeros Festival, Portugal (Extract)" Comes with thick glossy black innersleeve.
