Band,
Rock and Spoken Word
Alias served by Mark Stevens and Jim Pruett. Not to be confused with similar branding used by other radio stations in other regions, such as Mack Hudson & Irving Harrigan. This "Hudson & Harrigan" team ran from 1974 to June, 1981, at KILT (FM), Houston, Texas. Mark Stevens was "Mark Hudson" and Jim Pruett was "Irv Harrigan." Considered the most popular morning show, until KILT changed formats from Rock to Country in '81. Branded "The Radio Gawds," the shock-jocks went on to an even more successful run under their own names, "Stevens & Pruett," at 'Rock-101' KLOL, in Houston. Stevens died in 2010; Pruett died in 2016.
