Hudson Swan (born 1954) is a Scottish musician, specializing in folk music. He attended the John Neilson High School in the town of Paisley, Scotland, where he was born and raised.He started learning to play the violin at the age of seven after encouragement from a fiddle playing uncle. In 1972 he joined Traditional Scottish Band, The Tannahill Weavers whom he performed with until 1982. During this period he played on the band's first three albums and toured extensively throughout Europe and Canada.
