Since 2012, violinist Huiseung Yoo is the first Korean associate concertmaster of the Vienna Volksoper Orchestra. Pianist Véronique Teruel graduated from the Conservatoire National de Lyon - piano, harpsichord, harp and ballet. She received her Master's degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, where she has been a Senior Lecturer for many years. The Vienna connection is clear. On this album, Ms. Yoo and Ms. Teruel perform compositions by Kreisel, Elgar, Strauss (arr. Prihoda), Chausson, Fauré, Sibelius, Monti, Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff.
