Paraguayan singer who was born in Borja, Guairá department on January 20, 1927 and died on April 29th, 2014 in Lima, Peru. He was a companion of Luis Alberto Del Parana since the time of their military service. Subsequently, under the direction of poet and musician Gumersindo Ayala and harpist Digno Garcia, both were part of the group Los Guaireños. On October 5, 1945, the group began a tour in Formosa, Argentina, which later traveled to Central America and Mexico. In 1952, Barua decided to leave the group to settle in the Peruvian capital of Lima and marry "Chela" Bazó. Together with his brother Hector, in 1957 they recorded an album of Paraguayan music for the Peruvian label Virrey under the stage name of "Dúo De Los Hermanos Barúa". A decade later, he became involved in recording the LP Luis Alberto Del Parana Y Los Paraguayos Con Los Violines De Lima.
