The Hurlingham Reggae Band was an Argentine band of reggae music formed mostly by members of the band Sumo to allow the latter, just concentrate on rock and roll. The band was active mainly between 1982 and 1984. When it was dissolved in 1985, Sumo recovered some of its materials. Luca Prodan was the lead singer of both bands. The Hurlingham Reggae Band never recorded an official album, but between the aforementioned years they performed many concerts, playing in Argentina. One of the few members that did not belong to Sumo was the guitarist Tito Fargo, who would later form part of Patricio Rey and his Redonditos de Ricota. La Hurlingham Reggae Band​ fue una banda argentina de música reggae conformada en su mayoría por los integrantes de la banda Sumo para permitir que ésta última, solo se concentre en el rock and roll. La banda estuvo activa principalmente entre 1982 y 1984. Cuando se disolvió en 1985, Sumo recuperó algunos de sus materiales. Luca Prodan fue el cantante principal de ambas bandas. La Hurlingham Reggae Band nunca grabó un álbum oficial, pero entre los años mencionados anteriormente realizaron muchos conciertos, tocando en Argentina. Uno de los pocos integrantes que no pertenecía a Sumo era el guitarrista Tito Fargo, que más tarde formaría parte de Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota.
