A.k.a. project Hypoxia
Post-Industrial/Ethnic Electronics project formed in Kaliningrad, now act in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Russian experimental music project from Kaliningrad, founded by Mark Shaman and Kristina Teermaal in June 2007 under name "Hypoxia". Once they agreed to work together they had chosen the project name by picking a random word from the dictionary. Kristina left the project in August 2009 and presently Hypoxia is one-man's project. The Russian netlabel "Dark System" released Hypoxia's debut album "Lamia" in 2011. In 2013 the project changed name from "Hypoxia" to "project Hypoxia", also changing sound from EBM/industrial/power noise to experimental electronic, combining different genres - from tribal/ethno electronic to dark ambient to trip-hop to post-industrial. In the end of 2014 project moved from Kaliningrad to Saint-Petersburg.
