A.k.a. Aisha Echteld
Dutch-Surinamese singer and songwriter from Diemen, North Holland, the Netherlands. The daughter of Jetty Weels of the famous Dutch pop group Mai Tai, Aisha grew up in Diemen in the Southeastern suburb of Amsterdam. Growing up she witnessed the in outs of the Entertainment Industry, having participated in many talent shows as a child, she eventually worked with Donavon Nelson, the former manager of George Michael, and as a result was part of the group LaliQ. She has also worked with the producers of the Sugababes, Reverse (2) as well as The Opposites. In 2010 she released her acclaimed debut EP "Aisha" via the Puna.nl web platform.
