Album IT 2016 on Opilec Music label
Rock, Reggae and Pop (Dub)
From the deep roots of an ancient Africa to the modern technocratic world of big cities the mighty waves of positive vibes are spreading; this is the "Chasing The Sun E.P." by DubRaJah featuring the legendary Lee Perry and Mad Professor. Old-school dubbing, skanking and jamming. Dedications to the first dub genius creators in "Happy Dub", to the epic "Blackboard Jungle" and Zanzibar's taarab music in 'Tanzania Dub', continued by enigmatic voices in "I-Land Dub" and mysterious singing of Maasai people in "Tanganyika Dub". Album was recorded in Arusha and Zanzibar cities of Tanzania in 2015. Dedicated to Nicolai Sosnowski. The artwork for this release is provided by talented Japanese artist Tamami Saito who is working alongside the label to provide unique covers for a selection of Opilec's records.
