The band's formation was as early as 2009 but the actual music writing and producing happened in 2012. This band is a studioproject and does not perform live. The name IJsrijk comes from Dutch and it literally means Empire of Ice. IJsrijk consists of two members, which are Traen, who does the vocals and Smart, who does all the instruments.
