Ian grew up in a musical household surrounded by jazz records and keyboards. He started DJing in 1993 and producing a few years later, just before relocating to Brooklyn in 2001. He's since DJ'd extensively around NYC — most notably at his Champion Sound! parties along with partner in crime, OP! — and worked briefly at Okayplayer. These days you'll find him tweaking kicks and snares in the lab when not traveling the world or listening to nerdy podcasts.
