Best known for his work as a trumpet player and composer/producer with Ute, a fascination with the world of sound has led to work in film and television, with visual artists, choreographers and in digital media. Ian has performed and recorded with artists including Mulatu Astatke, Irmin Schmidt (Can), Kumo, Guru, Kenny Garrett, Ape, Corker Conboy, No-Man, Musiikki-Oy, Blow, Night Z, Ramjac, DJ Blame, West Park, DC2 and solo with computer as TPT.
