Ian Morris found fame in the massively popular New Zealand rock act Th'Dudes in the late 70s, as guitarist and prime songwriter with Dave Dobbyn. Ian Morris went on to become a producer and engineer of some note. In the 80s he had a couple of huge pop hits under the name Tex Pistol. He passed away on 7th October, 2010.
