Ichi Sound is a self proclaimed "Glo-Fi Synthwave" band based out of Phoenix, Arizona. Formed in 2012, the two piece group consists of Brandon Hibbard (a.k.a. Ichi The Thriller) and Dave Story (a.k.a. CPTNDV). Brandon started producing electronic music in his bedroom when he traded his electric guitar for a friends computer back in 2003. Originally producing slow, organic IDM music, Ichi?s sound has evolved into a modern day fusion of glo-fi, nu-disco and 80?s nostalgia. Dave was added to the band as the primary vocalist and lyricist in 2013. They independently released their self-titled debut EP in September 2014 and has been performing regularly since, opening for acclaimed indie acts Skylar Spence (formally Saint Pepsi), Joy Cut, YUS, Protector 101, Gost, and Dance with the Dead.
