Words fail when discussing the music of Pendle Poucher, aka Idmonster. There are no word pictures to be painted that can describe how he constructs his warm, sensual soundscapes, other than a complex marriage of organics and electronics. Machines bubble and spit beautiful nonsense into looped guitar patterns, while sonic snapshots of real life, both urban and pastoral, blow through like a summer breeze. Leaving soundtracks for those with less vision, Idmonster conducts tiny symphonies that mimic the sounds of everyday life... on Mars.
