Ignatz Anton von Weiser (born March 1, 1701 in Salzburg, died December 26, 1785) was a playwright and one of the most important dialect poets of the 18th century and mayor of the archiepiscopal city of Salzburg.vAs a librettist, he provided the literary model for Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's first commission The Obligation of the First Commandment.
