Album US 1947 on VOX label
Classical (Modern)
A 3-12" 78rpm album in book-like cover. Recorded in Paris, 1935. Liner notes say that this is the only recording of this piece with Stravinsky "conducting the great Lamoureux Orchestra of Paris with Samuel Dushkin, for whom the work was created for, as soloist." Records are arranged for autoplay with sides not in sequential order, but paired so one side could be played next without flipping the record over (record 1 has sides A and side F; record 2 has side 2 and side 5; record 3 has side 3 and side 4) so tracks are listed in correct playing order / sequence, not as they would be if sequenced traditionally with sides A and B being on same record). Main catalog number only appears on spine of cover. Cover says: Vox Records Present A Polydor Recording
