Originally recorded July 10, 1934, in EMi's Studio No. 1, Abbey Road, London, on Columbia 78-rpm matrix CAX 7207 - Side 3 of a complete recording of the work on three 12-inch 78-rpm discs. Dubbed February 12, 1938, onto Columbia 10-inch 78-rpm matrix CA 16855, for inclusion as Side 13 in the Columbia History of Music, Vol. 5, which was issued in 1939 as Columbia set M-361 in the USA (with record numbers as for the British issue, DB 1300 through DB 1307)
