Started by Italian dungeon-synther Sidereal Fortress, IL GENERALE INVERNO released his earliest stuff inside the "Alpestre" split album in 2018, yet sharing too much with his main project's songwriting approach. The artist then switched IL GENERALE INVERNO to a more improvised, freely performed style of composing, using even hardware synths and layering abstract textures and cold winter drones.
