Ilene Berns (born May 1, 1943, Cleveland, Ohio, USA – died February 20, 2017, Miami, Florida, USA) was a record company director and songwriter. As a songwriter, she also used the pseudonym Ilene Stuart. Ilene worked as a go-go dancer in New York City nightclubs before meeting her husband Bert Berns, the songwriter and record producer and founder of Bang Records. When Bert died in 1967, Ilene took over the management of Bang Records and ran it successfully. She eventually sold the label to Columbia in 1979. Mother of Cassandra Berns.
