Illdisposed was formed in 1991 in Denmark by mainman Bo Summer. The line-up has changed throughout the years and the current one is: Bo Summer (vocals), Lasse Bak (guitar), Jakob Batten (guitar), Jonas Kloge (bass) and Thomas Muskelbux (drums). The band released the demo, "The Winter of Our Discontempt", in 1992 which was followed by their debut album, "Four Depressive Seasons", in 1993. More releases followed, along with several tours in Denmark and Germany. The EP "Return to Tomorrow" saw the light of the day in 1994 and in 1995 the compilation "Helvede" and the album "Submit" were released. With the release of "There's Something Rotten... In the State of Denmark" in 1997 the band had created their own unique sound. The band was also featured in a documentary film called "Mainland Headbanging" which featured two other Danish bands, Goat and Infernal Torment. In 2000 "Retro" was released. The album featured various covers of bands like Darkthrone, Carcass, Obituary etc. It was followed by "Kokaiinum" in 2001. The band then left their label, Diehard Music, in 2004 and were signed to Roadrunner Records instead where they released "1-800 Vindication" same year.
