Immortal Sun is a the Techno project of Canadian Dj/Producer Nick 'Sidra' Baris. Nick began his career as a DJ in 2004. His first inspirations were the alien landscapes of psychedelic trance, and he spent several years creating fresh, exciting, and groovy dance floors all over Ontario and Quebec. He jumped into production in 2008, and in 2013, he began releasing psychedelic trance tracks under the names Illuminator and Psilocybernetics. His current project, Immortal Sun, marks a shift in his creative vision towards the more contemplative and cerebral sounds of Techno, while still maintaining the spirit of psychedelia. It also represents a step forward in his musical maturity. The project is a fusion of Nick's his deep appreciation for musical masterworks of the past, and the eternal search for the cutting edge.
