Incredible Force of Junior formed in the mid-'90s when Chris Mumford and Susan Robb left upstate New York in favor of the Pacific Northwest after graduating from college. Relocating in Seattle, the pair joined forces with drummer Steve Lodefink, and the upbeat twee pop band was born. The band released only two recordings, 1995's "Blue Cheer" single and 1996's Let the World Fall Apart CD on Up Records. The group disbanded while recording, as Lodefink opted to focus on family matters. Mumford went on to serve as keyboardist and guitarist in Tullycraft, and Robb performed under the moniker Milksnake. The band also appeared on various compilations during their brief tenure, influencing numerous other indie pop acts in the process.
