INFORMATION GHETTO is a Techno-house, elektro, dub, electronic live project from Russia by CLAPAN aka Dennis Korsunski. The live performance of INFORMATION GHETTO is only improvisation, since each live set sounds different from the previous one. The project’s main genre (chalk-face) is MINIMAL DEEP TECHNO HOUSE, the main challenge of INFORMATION GHETTO – searching for new forms in dance music. Beyond his project, Clapan courageously materialize his ideas in such genres as Ambient, IDM, Dub and Electro. Such valuable experience provides ability to a different point of view on the Techno dance music. Live performance of INFORMATION GHETTO looks like live music creation. Using modern technologies, Clapan creates his own sound field without any prefabricated scenario. Emotional control of the musician over the cold monotonic rhythm of the machines, against the backdrop of warm analog textures & deep techno and dub elements combined with deep bass lines, define the unique futuristic spirit and 100% dance music. 2008 – INFORMATION GHETTO released their debut EP on the German label BROQUE. Tracks from this album have appeared in sets of European and Russian Djs. The EP was positively rated in electronic mass media.So, website phlowmagazine.com has called INFORMATION GHETTO’s musical concept: techno for smart science-fiction movies. In 2009, label Manual Music (Jeff Bennett, Dub Taylor, Umek, Paul Hazendonk), included within one of it’s compilations the track Big Notes by INFORMATION GHETTO. 2010 – EP HOW TO BUILD A BRAIN came out on the Dutch label Stolen Moments Records EP SECRETS on German 3rd Wave Music & compilation Electronica 2.0 on Russian Electronica Netlabel. At the start of this year a new hit created by the project – track SIREN DUB, was released on MVD22 of the Dutch Multivitamin Records. Later this year, INFORMATION GHETTO in collaboration with project MODUL, has brought out a remix of a French artist Fex. The remix Fex-Meditation was released on vinyl by the Russia label Highway. Clapan personally favors a fresh EP Applause Phenomena. This powerful and mature work was released by German BROQUE and has obtained unbelievable quantity of positive feedback from guru of the world techno scene. Tracks Applause Phenomena & Snow Report appeared in the playlists of many reputable & respected DJs of our planet. So, the track Snow Report has found place on the Maetrik’s TOP TEN listand the Applause Phenomena was added by Falko Brocksieper and Sebastian Roya to their TOP10. 2011 - released 12" vinyl on KDB GRAVITATION EP and 2012 - INFORMATION GHETTO released first 12" on Pro-Tez sports a dense atmospheric deep house tune Apartment 808 together with the swinging "Forest Dreams" built around a marky flute solo on the A side. Backed up by a fine remix of "Forest Dreams" from Jonas Bering on the flip!
