Norwegian composer and pianist. Born September 10th, 1876 in Bergen, Norway. Died 1968 in Bergen, Norway. After publishing her first piano pieces at the age of eighteen and studying under Johan Halvorsen in Bergen, she travelled to Rome, where she gave concerts and studied under composer Alfredo Casella. She later settled in Bergen, where she became a highly regarded piano teacher at Musikkonservatoriet.
