Clark, the Don da da himself. Except "intro" contains a sample of "main title" from the original film soundtrack from John Carpenter's escape from new york, used courtesy of Silva Screen Records, Inc. Written by John Carpenter & Alan Howarth. Published by EMI Brillig Music, Inc. (ASCAP) / Cherry Lane Music Publishing Company, Inc. (ASCAP). And the funky guitar licks on "rainbows & stuff." them funky licks were written and played by Paper Tiger. A great band out of Detroit. Go buy their CDs. All of the flavor on this record was produced by Mike E. Clark and Insane Clown Posse together, like 3 balls swinging freely in a Great Dane's nut bag. Every track on this LP was programmed and engineered by Mike E. Clark alone. While Mike was working the studio's high tech equipment, J and Shaggy were fighting about whose turn it was to make the day's Faygo run. All the music on this masterpiece was mixed by Mike E. Clark and Insane Clown Posse. Picture this: the 3 of them, silent, wearing headphones, turning knobs, flicking switches and scratching their heads and scrotums. They looked like 3 scientists on the brink of something that is going to change the world forever. Everything on this joint was recorded at The Fun House Studio in Detroit, MI. Just down the street from Super K shopping center where Eminem was allegedly giving head to a man in a red pickup truck. However, the album's intro and skits were recorded in Denver, CO, at Millennium Studios and Rocky Mountain Recorders. All instruments were played live or programmed by Mike E. Clark himself. Mike is like Prince when it comes to instruments. He has mastered them all. Unlike Prince, however, Mike refuses to play the skin flute .Additional guitars on many of these songs were also played by Rich Murrell. Rich can play any guitar from the sitar to the banjo. He freaks them all. Also on the song "whut," live drums were played by our good friend Eric Hoegemeyer, All the lyrics on this record were written by B.B. (D.C. Publishing.) Dark Carnival luv. And Twiztid's lyrics on the song "whut" were written by Twiztid (Twiztid Publishing). All the lyrics on this album were performed, sang, rapped, chanted, howled, whispered and screamed by the Insane Clown Posse. Additional voices here and there were performed by Twiztid, Rich Murrell, Mike E. Clark, Deb Agoli, the ninja from Millennium Studios, The Rude Boy, Vampiro, and the News Guy. This dope ass record was mastered at the one and only Bernie Grundman Mastering. Photos: Eric "E-Wolf" Wheeler, Bob Alford, and J.
