The Power / Speed Metal band INSANITY from Stuttgart (W-Germany) was estabilished at beginning of 1987. The 1st Demo, called "Demo 1" was recorded in 1988. 800 copies were sold and sent it to the W-German and international magazines (Metal Hammer, Rock Hard, Metal Star etc.). The Demo got very good criticisms. The band was invited to perform in France and Switzerland and among other was support band of CORONER and WATCHTOWER. After the release of two live recordings and line-up changed in May 1990.The 2nd Demo "Tales Of Insanity" was recorded at August 1990. Again the band got very good criticisms. The song "Sign Of Times" which is included on Demo, it was #1 hit in the charts of numerious private radio stations (Australia, Portugal, Netherlands). After the band have many German and international gigs and they have tour in Hungary in August 1991. They were 2 weeks in Hungary. The 3rd Demo "Delegated Nations... Insane Earth" was recorded in spring of 1992. Shortly thereafter the lead guitarist and drummer went to the LETTER X band. But the band have found new members soon. The new line up was: Stephan Kellermann (Vocals) Stefan Leibing (Guitars, background vocals) Dieter Wirkner (Guitars, background vocals) Andreas Steringer (Bass, background vocals) Klaus Sperling (Drums, background vocals) In August 1992 with the new line-up INSANITY played on an open air festival in Czechoslovakia. The Fan Club of the band which by the way works on a volunteer basis, maintains many connections in European and overseas countries (Australia, Austria, France, Hungary, Japan, USA etc.). The band "manager" was Andreas "Andy" Steringer (Bass). But Andy has other activitiy in him private life and he was replaced by Thomas Hinz. The band have very good promotional materials. They were sent their info, photos etc. to many, many countries (Australia, Hungary, ex USSR etc.). The band made "The Human Side Of Paradise" Demo CD in 1995. The Demo has 14 tracks.
