First album to then change the sound of Mering's solo music. Sharing bedrooms with Sam Mehran in Echo Park, while he was recording Wingdings and Outer Limits Recording material, also 2 years after this, Mering & Mehran would relocate to New York from Los Angeles and also, Mering would change his alias from Insted to Raw Thrills, therefore much of this music being released on Gunk Tv Records was recorded under the insted alias but released as Raw Thrills or Raw Thrills (Insted). This album was recorded in the month of December, 2007, after this album Mering would release an album a month on CDR up until June, then output slowed a little, but picked up once relocating to New York. Mering & Mehran collaborated many times in NY & LA.
